The steel casting part is a component made of cast steel. In the casting steel parts, its performance is similar to that of cast iron, and in use, it is higher than the cast iron. At the same time, when the steel casting parts is performed, it is prone to air bubbles and other phenomena. Therefore, what do you need to pay attention to during the repair of the cast steel parts?

1. When the welding supplement method is used to repair the defects of the cast steel parts, the defects should be reviewed and the welding supplementary process regulations shall be reviewed.

2. When the important casting uses gas cutting or carbon arc gas to eliminate defects, the chemical composition, defects and properties of the casting casting can be used for the necessary preheating.

3. The defects of steel casting parts may be found during the appearance inspection, or it may be found after heat treatment or machine processing. For defects that are not allowed, it can be removed by mechanical processing, chiseling, polishing, gas cutting, or carbon arc gas plane.

4. After the steel casting defect welding is supplemented, the replenishment site and near the mother material must be polished, and no destructive detection based on the number, size, and part of the site, to confirm that the defect has been cleared.

5. After removing defects of the steel casting parts, no damage detection should be performed to confirm that the defect has been completely removed. For the shallow grooves or concave pits generated due to removal of defects, the strength of the casting can be grinded into a smooth arc transition surface.
