On the morning of October 28, Xinxiang Great Wall Steel Casting Co., Ltd. (Great Wall Casting) held a grand ribbon-cutting ceremony to celebrate the completion of its high-end complete equipment transformation and upgrade project. The milestone marks the company's successful evolution from a single steel casting supplier into a customized complete equipment service provider, covering the entire industry chain from blank casting, rough and finish machining, and component assembly to complete equipment delivery.

At 10:08 a.m., the ceremony officially began. Wang Zhaobin, General Manager of Xinxiang Great Wall Group, reviewed the 17-month construction journey — from foundation piling to commissioning. With a total investment of RMB 300 million, the project added a new 26,000 m² heavy-duty workshop with a maximum lifting capacity of 400 tonnes. Annual steel casting capacity has been doubled from 50,000 tonnes to 100,000 tonnes, with single castings reaching up to 300 tonnes. A 20,000 m² workshop in the industrial park was put into operation at the same time, building systematic supporting and system integration capabilities for steel castings and structural parts, strengthening the supply chain and better serving the needs of high-end customers while driving technological upgrades among local foundry and machining enterprises.
Zhang Libo, Honorary Chairman of the China Foundry Association, praised Great Wall Casting's exploration in high-end and complete-set large steel castings, calling it a reference model for the transformation and upgrading of the steel casting industry.
Representatives of Chinese and international partners also delivered speeches, including the President of ANDRITZ Metals, the Executive President of Supply Chain at SMS group (Germany), and the General Manager of Wuhan Heavy Machine Tool Group under China North Industries Group. They highly recognized the company's equipment capabilities, delivery quality and collaboration efficiency, and stated that they will deepen long-term cooperation in metallurgy and heavy equipment, taking the completion of the new workshop as a new starting point.
After the ceremony, guests toured the new workshop and observed the complete manufacturing process of large steel castings from blank to finished product.
The launch of the new workshop is a solid step toward Great Wall Casting's goals of "high-end, complete-set and international" development. Moving forward, the company will continue to provide global customers with one-stop solutions from casting to complete equipment delivery.
