Bearing lubrication doesn’t meet standards

Vertical mill roller bearings have a relatively high operating temperature, and the internal temperature of the bearing is close to 200°C. If the type of lubricating oil is not correct, the oil will deteriorate or be evaporated due to high temperature and high pressure, as as to loose the function of protection and lubrication, which will increase the heat generated by the friction of the roller bearings, resulting in an abnormal increase in bearing temperature.

Solution: In order to ensure the performance and service life of the bearing, the lubricant should use a relatively high viscosity lubricant. Every time the bearing runs for four months, the lubricating oil must be replaced in time, and the oil should not be less than forty liters.

Vertical mill inlet air temperature is too high

During the operation of the vertical mill, the inlet air temperature of the vertical mill should be properly controlled. If the wind temperature is too high, the roller bearing will gradually heat up, which will cause the temperature of the roller to be alarmed, and cause the vertical mill to stop.

Solution: During the installation of vertical mill, the temperature measuring component is installed at the entrance of the mill to monitor the mill inlet temperature in real time to avoid the above problems.
