Slag pot/slag ladle is a kind of important steel making equipment in metallurgical industry, used to contain the high-temperature molten slag.

The acceptance criteria for slag pot are:

1. New slag pot should meet the strict acceptance criteria, and be proved by test report and flaw detection report.

2. If any cracks, sand holes, or interlayers are found in new slag pot, returen it to factory.

3. There should be at least 2 standby slag pots on site (new slag pot or good-stated slag pot after repair).

3. The scrap of slag pot and the put-into-work of new slag pot must be allowed by Technology Group.

4. No such slag pot that is repaired several times on working site.

5. New slag pot should has smooth side wall, even color, non-interlayer, and no seams caused by second time cast or second time weild.

6. There should be complete standards for on-site maintenance, return-to-factory repair, and scrap standard.
